I am a Welsh writer based in Somerset, England. I write creative nonfiction, memoir, essays and short stories that explore themes of addiction, mental health, grief, home, the body, love, sex and social class.

My work has appeared in publications including The Guardian, Mslexia, The Moth, New Internationalist, Ellipsis, Planet: The Welsh Internationalist, New Welsh Review, Journal of Compressed Creative Arts, The Real Story, Litro and The Mechanics Institute Review, as well as several anthologies, most recently by Comma Press.

I was a finalist in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award (2018), the Fish Short Memoir Prize (2019) and the Center for Women Writers’ International Literary Awards (2019).

In 2019 I was awarded an Arts Council England grant to begin writing my first book.
